John D’aquino

John D’aquino shared some great technical sound knowledge with us tonight. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a degree in a film, John happened onto the sound department which has lead to some great work on projects such as Super Troopers and The Dukes Of Hazzard.

Further, he still is pursuing his producing career. Currently, John has a his own company, Childhood Dreams, in which he produces his own work and provides production services for both studio and indie films…

He has also partnered with past Filmnut guest Kristin Holt with the company Blah Blah Blah. Together they have several projects in development. We talked about their feature Scribble, and also a documentary John is working on based on the Coney Island Polar Bear Club.
