The Scream Factory’s Jeff Nelson and Cliff MacMillan join hosts Staci Layne Wilson (@staciwilson) and Vanessa “Gore Whore” Gomez (@vanessamgomez) with our very own Uncle Creepy Steve Barton (@unclecreepy) on Dread Central Live.
With Pompeii in theatres this weekend, our horror hosts chat about their favorite apocalyptic films; from Seth Rogen’s This is the End, starring James Franco and Jonah Hill, to Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead. Other favorites included: Eli Roth’s Aftershock, Zombieland and George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead.
The Scream Factory has established itself as one of the leaders in the horror home video arena, if not the champions. But there were a few titles Uncle Creepy and our gals thought deserved a definitive edition including: Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury’s Inside, as well as The Mephisto Waltz.
Known for putting out some of the coolest old-school horror movies out on blu-ray for the first time, Jeff Nelson and Cliff MacMillan join the hosts to find out how they decide which movies deserve the royal treatment with Blu-ray re-releases such as Cat People and Ravenous.
They also reveal their 2014 summer releases:The Legend of Hell House, starring Roddy McDowall, and the Collector’s Edition of Motel Hell!!
In the speed round, The Scream Factory’s mad scientists Jeff Nelson and Cliff MacMillan share their favorite fan moment, the scariest horror movie they’ve ever seen and how they would describe themselves in three words. Find out what they had to say!
